Mission and Vision
The Art in All of Us (AiA) Mission is to inspire children across borders to build a more tolerant world for tomorrow. We stimulate the creativity and curiosity of children through artistic and interactive activities. By giving them a voice, children are empowered to express their feelings, build their self-esteem, and help create a more positive future.
Our Vision is to promote tolerance by inspiring Global Citizenship through Art and subsequently stimulate multicultural understanding across boundaries through exchanges and partnerships. With Art as their tool, children, and in turn adults, will be able to gain knowledge of cultural similarities and differences and to embrace the “unknown” with tolerance, understanding and curiosity. We believe in the power of Art to transform lives.
AiA from 2011 on:
Year after year, AiA has received incredible support from schools, partners, parents and of course, children. Every year since AiA's founding, we have launched new programs (the World Art Book in 2004, the Awareness Program in 2005, the Pen Pal program in 2006, Violet in 2007, the AiA Curriculum in 2008, Children World Art Tour in 2009-2010). In the last three years, we have worked with more than 310 schools, all of whom participated in one or more of our programs.
Your continuous support will help us enroll more schools in our creative activities, which will ultimately inspire hundreds of children and educate them on the world around them, and build a great understanding of their role in their world as global citizens.
Raising 670,000 Euros per year will help us:
Enroll 150 additional schools in our programs
Finance over 100 new art exchanges
Continuously organize new AiA activities in the AiA School network
Create more incentives for teachers to use the AiA curriculum
Recruit our first paid employees to maintain continuous programs support
Develop and distribute AiA curriculum kits to 40 schools
Create an AiA Volunteer Academy and train more teachers and volunteers to become AiA teachers in schools worldwide
Distribute the World Art Book in 200 schools without any cost incurred by the schools
Organize 5 child art's and photography exhibition each year.
