Will the Fed bailout of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae be eougnh to calm investors and stabilise the economy?I doubt it.The problem is that the underlying economy needs restructuring, from untenable, unsustainable expenditures on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, to the internal soci-economic base, there is trouble. The bailout of the mortgage backers will only temporary gilt over the problem.Oil prices will rise as investors continue to seek refuge in commodities, which in itself will compound the p

to me, is that the Caribbean is certainly not wililng in any way to either participate or offend the African continent, mostly because the leaders' here, probably justifiably, recognise that such would be opening a can of worms for us.Africa and the caribbean are so different in political and socioeconomic ways, and this is clearly why the leaders' here are keeping their distance. Those who seek closer ties are left to their own devices, while the rest look and watch the African leaders encourag

Multi-Universes and Re-Incarnation. Straight Talk. The Multi-Universe theory has alawys left me with a feeling of remorse and sadness, as though some major Physicists have come to a dead end , and don't know where to turn next. The theory reminds me of human Re-incarnation, which is that only part of a wonderful and ancient religion I find hard to swallow, as though it spells out Well, you are very poor and outcaste in this life around, but if you are good, hardworking and honest, you can be b

Obama: We Are Broke. Well, Duh!Text sizeBill AndersonLew RockwellMay 23, 2009I am utterly amzaed at the continued arrogance of the Obama administration, which has managed to make the Bush administration look to be prudent, which is a major accomplishment. Obama tells C-SPAN that We are out of money, but then claims that this is because the government had not taken over healthcare. (I'd hate to see our medical system when government actually does completely control it, given that it pretty much

Wow. How beautifully wierttn, and so true. I think too many times we miss those moments, though, because we focus on the destination rather than all of the gems along the road. And, that is easy to do when life is so busy and demanding. Thanks for the reminder.

How true. How much we miss by being focused on the reutsls rather than the moment. SOme of the best moments are when we just learn to be still and listen, whether its to our inner self or to Gods leading. Its too bad we miss so many moments with our busy schedules.

Fancy a ferret?Ferrets can make fastantic pets for the right owner. If you are considering making a ferret part of your family, it is important that you do your research first to make sure that he or she would be a good fit, and confirm that the animals are . (For example, pet ferrets are and Hawaii, and an exotic pet license is required to own one .)I have dogs, cats, fish, and hermit crabs, but never considered a ferret until that one day when I stopped at a pet shop in a neighboring town.

We just moved into a new home. And my 2 cats seem fine. It's the first time we've ever changed houess. My cats are allowed to go outside. They do come back. And we've been here for about a month. They haven't tried running away. But I found out, that the lady who used to live here, had a cat. And she died. So the cat walks around outside. And we see him/her every once in a while. My cats do NOT like him. But the cat does not seem aggressive. My cat is the one who growls and hunches his back. I w
