AiA and Promethean launch new free Curriculum online
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, 10th June, 2011 – Art in All of Us is proud to announce its new partnership with Promethean World (www.PrometheanWorld.com.) and Promethean Planet (www.prometheanplanet.com) . Together, we launched the new AiA Curriculum Kit. Our Education Program Developers envisioned an educational syllabus incorporating the concepts our instructors have been teaching in schools around the world for the last five years.
The AiA Awareness Curriculum introduces students to the countries and cultures of the world using our extensive database of children’s artwork showcasing over 25,000 drawings and poems. The AiA Awareness Curriculum Program is about children teaching other children through the use of their own creativity, enhancing their understanding of cultural differences and connecting globally.
“The program promotes cultural awareness, exploring topics like geography, religion, and ethnicity through interactive activities that foster creativity. Understanding is the first step to teaching tolerance. Using Promethean community and collaborative learning tools permits us to reach more schools and teachers around the world. After only 2 weeks being online, more than 350 schools downloaded our kit. An astonishing result,” says Anthony Asael, Founder and Executive Director of Art in All of Us.
